Our grant partners’ 2025 wins

The solutions to the climate and nature crises are already here. Countless people and organizations worldwide are already putting them into practice: we just need to make sure they have the resources to escalate, or to make ambitious ideas a reality. EarthPercent are incredibly proud to be able to fund organizations that will make our Earth a tangibly better place to live.

We know that tackling the polycrises - crises in climate, nature, justice, and more, which all relate to each other - will not come with one answer. That’s why we fund a wide variety of organizations across different action areas, levels of structural power, and geographies. Just as the Earth needs an incredible diversity of healthy ecosystems to maintain planetary health, so our crises needs a great diversity of solutions to create a liveable, equitable world.

Here are some of our grant partners’ achievements in 2025:

  1. The Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative has taken a strong hold in influencing global policy: announced at COP30, Colombia (one of the 18 nations that supports the Initiative) will host the first ever International Conference for the Phase Out of Fossil Fuels next year.

  2. LIVE and A Greener Future launched the Live Events Energy Scheme (LEES) with Ecotricity and the Music Venues Trust. This makes it easier and cheaper for venues and events of all sizes to switch to 100% renewable energy through a ‘energy basket model’.

  3. ClientEarth won a historic case in Spain which ruled that authorities breached the human rights of residents by failing to act on industrial livestock pollution, enforcing the government’s duty to protect communities from environmental harm.

  4. Cool Earth announced that it is expanding into Colombia. Its unconditional cash transfers and forest-monitoring technology for local communities will add to the 2.1 million acres of rainforest already protected worldwide.

  5. Music Declares Emergency launched ‘Hope Over Fear’, a campaign funding the establishment of regional Action Hubs across the UK with the Music Venues Trust. The Hubs are spaces where music fans can meet, collaborate and take local action for climate and nature.

  6. Proyecto Tití restored more than 40 hectares of forest in Colombia to protect the home of cotton-top tamarins (tiny punk monkeys!), benefiting many other species that share this tropical dry forest ecosystem. They are a grant partner of Sounds Right, funded by royalties from NATURE the artist, whose fund is hosted by EarthPercent.

  7. Youth Climate Justice Fund support 115 youth-led movements across 51 countries, with over $4 million distributed. YCJF provide vital support to youth led climate justice movements - who receive less than 1% of the grants from the largest climate foundations - championing equity, flexible funding, and global solidarity.

  8. Uplift’s continuous advocacy has contributed to the UK Government’s recent confirmation that it will not allow new oil and gas exploration. The fight to stop the drilling of Rosebank still continues, but this is a significant win for the energy transition.

  9. Julie’s Bicycle’s We Make Tomorrow campaign reached 1.5 million supporters. This is a call from the arts & culture industries to put culture at the heart of climate action and global policy, which Julie’s Bicycle took to world leaders at COP30.

  10. Amazon Sacred Headwater Alliance advocated for Indigenous rights and autonomy at COP30. They were part of the swell of Indigenous people peacefully demanding respect and representation in global agreements, which contributed to advances in funding and in recognition in the final text. ASHA also pushed for the permanent protection of the Amazon and the strengthening of Indigenous wellbeing economies by contributing to numerous campaigns and launching a Bioregional Fund for their territories.

  11. …And because we couldn’t narrow down to ten: The Ocean and Us made waves at the International Seabed Authority: The organization were granted Observer status, which means they can make interventions at ISA, giving voice to concerned citizens and ocean life on an international scale. Founder Farah Obaidullah also handed in petitions against deep sea mining, signed by over 340,000 individuals and 162 organizations, to the ISA’s Secretary-General.
