How Music Powered Action in 2025: Our Impact Report Is Out

In 2025, EarthPercent continued our work to embed care for the planet into the systems that shape society. Music has a unique power to help us address the planetary crises - as an industry that carries great influence, and as an art form that makes us feel, connect, imagine, and act. From funding vital climate and nature work to shifting mindsets through artistic expression, we’re thrilled to share how music made a difference last year.

OUR IMPACT IN NUMBERS

Although our impact goes far beyond numbers, here’s a few that we’re proud of. We distributed $1.055 million in grants in 2025 - the first time we’ve granted over $1 million in a year! This supported 31 grant partners, who over 100 new supporters helped fund. Over 20 million people listened to NATURE the artist, whose royalties are directed to conservation via Sounds Right. EarthPercent is a founding partner of this initiative led Museum for the UN - Live, and hosts the Sounds Right Fund.

SOLUTIONS FUNDED BY MUSIC

The abundance of inspiring, equitable work happening worldwide is what gives us hope in the face of the climate and nature crises. The challenge isn’t a lack of solutions - it’s making sure they have the funding they need to thrive. We’re proud that we were able to both continue supporting our long-term grant partners and begin funding new ones last year. Our Expert Advisory Panels identify some of the most impactful, innovative and equitable organizations, and we provide them with flexible funding to give them the freedom to decide where it will have the greatest impact.

Our Community

Everything in this report has been made possible by a growing community of artists, industry organisations, partners and donors who believe music can be a force for positive change.

In 2025, more than 150 artists and 30 industry organisations supported EarthPercent, embedding Earth as a participant in music. In developing our work to help artists lead the conversation, we’ve also seen firsthand how their creativity and passion makes them incredible advocates for climate and nature.

JOIN A GROWING MOVEMENT

Going forward, we’re working on supporting more artists to become advocates for a safer, fairer Earth as well as continuing to build commitment to recognizing Earth as a stakeholder in music. We truly believe that music can inspire the action our planet desperately needs. Thank you for being with us this year. If you’re in music and want to join the movement, email hello@earthpercent.org. If you’d like to support our work with a donation, you can do so here.
