greening music grants

Since 2022, we’ve awarded more than $625,000 towards organisations working to reduce the environmental impact of the music industry.

Our funding in this space emphasises sector-wide collaborations to avoid duplication and scale best practice with a focus on two core areas:

  • Research and innovation addressing music's environmental impacts with a focus on equity, accessibility and systemic change

  • Tools and resources for artists, companies and fans that are accessible to those who otherwise may not have the means to engage in climate action.

Below is a selection of the tools, research, resources and initiatives that EarthPercent's funding has helped support. We encourage you to explore each of our grant partners' websites, where you'll find a wealth of additional resources, guidance and insights into their work.

What our funding has supported

EarthPercent's Supporting Music grants are helping ensure that artists, venues, festivals and music organisations have access to the research, tools and partnerships they need to reduce their environmental impact. By investing not just in individual projects, but in shared infrastructure and collaboration, these grants are helping create lasting change across the music industry.
