On the Move: EarthPercent Updates
As always, EarthPercent has been working to create waves of change in the industry and beyond - our small team putting in mammoth hours to bring ideas and initiatives to life that challenge the one-way relationship between music and the Earth. We're working to flip that model, making it a two-way street where music gives back to the planet….permanently.
Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to recently:
36 New ‘feat. NATURE’ Tracks Launched on Earth Day
As a key partner in Sounds Right – a bold initiative led by the Museum for the United Nations – we helped release 36 new tracks featuring nature as a credited artist. These tracks include recordings of the natural world woven into original music by artists from across the globe. EarthPercent led the artist relations and music distribution work, bringing in names like Hozier, Raveena, Armaan Malik, SYML and many more. This is about embedding nature into the business model of music – not just thematically but financially, with royalties directed to environmental causes.
EarthPercent on the Road
We’ve been showing up across continents to make the case for structural change in music. We spoke at major music and impact events including:
Green Events and Innovation Conference 17, organized by our grant partner A Greener Future, where our co-executive Director Cathy spoke to artists Moby and Declan McKenna.
AVA London, where Cathy introduced Jarvis Cocker’s “Biophobia” talk.
Music Sustainability Alliance Summit in Los Angeles, where Head of Community Becky Young led the panel on Nature Takes The Stage.
The Big Give’s EarthRaise event in London on Earth Day, featuring Cathy and E/P supporter Declan McKenna performing to highlight the launch of the Green Match Fund in which EarthPercent raised £10k with an additional £10k in matchfunding.
International Music Summit in Ibiza, where the panel ‘From Partying to Purpose’ featuring Head of Partnership Alice Pelly helped announce the start of EarthPercent Ibiza
The Great Escape industry conference in Brighton, where Cathy and Josephine Illingworth discussed EarthPercent’s work and explored Josephine’s song ‘Dawn’, which was awarded the 2025 Tune Into Nature Music Prize.
EarthFest Music Summit in King’s Cross where Becky Young was in conversation with Madame Gandhi and spoke on a panel about artists using their voice for change.
These are not just speaking slots – they’re strategic touchpoints, where we’re building partnerships, testing ideas, and bringing climate into the centre of industry conversations.

New US Board of Trustees
We’ve appointed a new US Board to help guide and support our mission in North America. The new board includes forward-thinking leaders from across music, tech, and climate:
Harry Poloner - President of the Board
Emily Bines – Treasurer of the Board
Dae Levine – Secretary of the Board
Michael Delle Donne - Trustee
Courtney Marr - Trustee
Huge thanks to our outgoing US board members – we’re excited about the next phase.
EarthPercent Ibiza
We launched a new project - EarthPercent Ibiza - that aims to work with key local partners to bring climate and nature action into the heart of Ibiza’s music scene. This includes building relationships with venues, DJs, and promoters, supporting artist pledges, and creating a new model for low-carbon nightlife with real financial contributions to climate action. More on that here.

‘everything is political’ artist circle
We co-hosted a closed-door artist discussion at Brian Eno’s studio, under Chatham House rules, to explore what it means for artists to speak out on difficult but essential issues; from climate collapse to genocide and political upheaval. The session created space for honesty, discomfort, solidarity, and strategy - and there’s more to come.
‘The Drop’ at SXSW London
As part of the inaugural SXSW London, we co-hosted The Drop, an intimate industry event at the Nature & Climate House alongside Bellwethers Group. It was a space for connection – drinks, live music, and conversations between our partners and collaborators working across music and climate.
