WE ARE Hiring: Charity Secretary

EarthPercent are seeking a part time Fundraising Manager to help us grow our donations from the music industry across labels, publishers, promoters, festivals, agents and managers. Our fundraising model with industry is to on-board organisations that would like to include EarthPercent as a beneficiary in their events, festivals or businesses to help them demonstrate their values and commitments to the climate and biodiversity crisis. Your target is to grow the number of organisations we have in support.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of the music industry, boasting an extensive network within it. You should be a natural fundraiser; commercial, sales orientated, and thrive in the pitch, follow-up and close process. While our Board of Trustees and ambassadors have valuable industry connections, the successful applicant should bring their own relationships and be eager to involve them in EarthPercent's mission. We’re looking for a strategic thinker and confident communicator, someone who excels in identifying opportunities and conveying EarthPercent’s value and mission to potential donors.

About Us

EarthPercent is a registered charity in England and Wales (1188391) and a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (12407439). It was launched in April 2021 to raise money from the music industry in support of the climate movement in order to contribute to a just and green future for all, as well as to significantly reduce the industry’s impact on the planet.

EarthPercent seeks to include the planet as a stakeholder in music by asking artists, companies and individuals to commit a small percentage of their revenue to EarthPercent. EarthPercent then distributes this money to the most impactful organisations working on the climate and nature crises with the guidance of an advisory panel of climate experts, leading scientists and youth activists.
